Mrs. Izola (Hale) Sehorn was born at Toolesboro, Ia., Oct. 14, 1850 and died in Cedar Rapids, Dec. 27, 1905, aged 55 years, 2 months and 13 days. She was the daughter of John and Esther (Palmer) Hale. Her mother died in 1883. Her aged father still lingers. Besides she is survived by one full sister, Mrs. Lydia Lacey, of this place and one one full brother, Loren Hale,of Longton, Kansas; also by her half brother Oscar Hale and sister, Miss Nellie Hale, of this place.

She was twice married, first to P. L. Richards, of Galesburg, Ill., again to J. G. Sehorn. One daughter, Mrs. Lola Richards Druse and two sons, Victor and Owen, survive. Mrs. Sehorn spent most of her life near the home of her childhood. She had been a great sufferer for some time with "gall stones." As last resort, an operation was performed last Monday by specialists in Cedar Rapids, in which 30 calculi were removed, but the shock was too great and she died the following morning.

The remains were brought back from Cedar Rapids last night. The funeral was held at the home of her father at 1 o'clock this afternoon, conducted by Revs Cooper and Reusch. The interment was held in the old Mallory cemetery, near her childhood home, made sacred as the resting place of mother.
