Researching Leon Loyd, son of Velma Marie Covington, born in Independence Hospital, Buchanan Co., Iowa June 23, 1949. Last name on birth cirtificate was probably McConnell or Benefiel. Leon's mother put him up for adoption in September, 1949, likely to a family living in Cedar Rapids, Linn Co., Iowa. Please e-mail me if you have any information on the above person.
