Researching SCHRIMPERS in Linn Co. IA

William (Wilhelm) Schrimper immigrated from Germany with his father Henry and brother Fredrick around 1854, settling in the Marion area. William married Johanna Halvorson in 1857. Johanna died in the fall of 1859. William married an Elizabeth Gillespe in 1862. I don't know what became of her. William served in the army in the Civil War. He shows up in later census married to Bridget. I am looking for other researchers of this Schrimper line.
