Growing up in Sperry, and having worked at 7 Ponds Park for a couple of years (in the early 80's), I can say that 7 Ponds was never a town. Just a campground run by Craig Murguia of Sperry. 7 Ponds is actually a bit northwest of the town of Sperry. All that is left are the shelter houses, concession stand, shower house & waterslide and beach.
Since 7 Ponds closed, Craig sold most of the land off for people to build houses on, and it is practically a town all it's own back there. Very scenic land overlooking the main pond.
Sperry school (which used to be a HS in the 50's) and an elementary school (when I went there) has been long torn down after the Mediapolis School district closed it in the late 70's-early 80's. Never heard that the school was haunted.
