Searching for any information on Nicholas/William GLYNN or GLENN, b.c. 1795 probably Co. Galway, Ireland. In late 1840s settled in Jones Co., Washington twp., area near Cascade or Garryowen, Jackson Co. with brother(?) Patrick GLYNN (c. 1797-1887, bur. at St. Peter's in Temple Hill, IA, with Thomas & Bridget LEONARD). Married Mary ROCHE/ROACH. Two daughters: Julie, b.c. 1849 and baptized at St. Patricks, Garryowen (godparents were James LEONARD & Mary BURKE) and Johanna "Josie", b.c. 1853 (m. Lawrence BOWDEN in 1869). One son, David Richard, b. 1 Mar 1855; mother, Mary, may have died in childbirth; father, Nicholas, died soon after. Johanna and David were raised by Thomas & Bridget LEONARD. David m. Eliza CURRAN (dau. of Nellie BUCKLEY & James C. CURRAN) Feb. 1879 in Toronto, Clinton Co., IA and farmed in Lost Nation, Sharon twp., Clinton Co. Other than St. Patrick's & St. Peter's, are there any other Catholic cemeteries in the area where Nicholas and Mary could be buried?
