I'm not much help here as French-Canadian names keep changing spellings all the time!

I can tell you that they were in Ancram, Columbia County, NY for the 1860 census. Last name listed then was Danville.

1860 NY census, Columbia County
Series M653, Roll 737, Page 294, Visit 411, line 23

Oliver Danville, age 23 born Canada
Anna , age 24 born Ireland

no children yet.

By 1870 they were also in Jackson, Jones County.

Appears they were from Columbia Co., NY and married there.
