adoption 1938

STOHER, STOEHER, STOERHER, STOERER, STORER

i am searching for any information on my father, who was born july 27, 1938. james eugene stoher(we think). this was the mothers name given on the birth certificate(it burned in a fire)the mother was blond haired and blue eyed. she refused to list the father on the birth certificate. from what i remember, she may have been a college student, and either she or the father were involved in swimming. my dad was adopted by joseph and marie loesel at the age of three months. his adopted name is michael james loesel. we wish to find the family names, or adoption records. thanks
