Bowen's Prairie (photos - sketches)?

ANY

What is so fascinating is the fact that Bowen's Prairie was such a thriving community from the 1850s on to the 20th century then just disappears. It had hundreds of homes, churches, a park, post office, cemetery, and other buildings but everything except the cemetery has been plowed under. From what I can gather, the town was very antibellum and pretty.

There were cameras during this time and wonder if any photos survive to see what the town looked like - or even detailed sketches?

Thanks!
Jim
