SCOTCH GROVE - Funeral services were held Monday, June 7 at St. John's Lutheran church for Rudolph Henry Hanken, 69. The Rev. C. C. Gutekunst officiated; interment was in the St. John's cemetery. Hanken died Friday evening, June 4 in the Monticello hospital.

The son of Mr. and Mrs. William H. Hanken, he was born May 21, 1902, and farmed until his death. He was a life-long member of St. John's Lutheran church.

He is survived by a sister, Katherine H. Hanken, and three brothers, Gerry F., Wesley B. and Frederick W., all at home. He was preceded in death by his parents and four sisters.

Casketbearers were Roy Null, LaVern Nagel, Harry Prull, LaVern Bartels, Floyd Rogers and Ray Nagel.
