Mrs. E. L. Aldrich died Sunday, May 2 at Cedar Rapids, after a lingering illness. Gladyce Fairbanks was born November 6, 1917, near Anamosa, the daughter of Charlie and Mary Yount Fairbanks.

She was married to Elmer L. Aldrich October 12, 1940 at Forest Chapel.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, May 4 at 1 p.m. in the Chapel of Memorial, with entombment at Cedar Memorial, Cedar Rapids.

She is survived by her husband, Elmer; her mother, Mrs. Charlie Fairbanks; one sister, Mrs. Edward (Gwelda) O'Brien, Wyoming. She was preceded in death by her father and two brothers.
