EDWARD R. HUDGEL

Edward R. HUDGEL, 72, of 226 45th St . Moline, died this morning in Moline Public Hospital.

He was born in Fairfield, Ia., on Feb. 4, 1882, the son of Melinda and Joseph HUDGEL(.) He married Mary E JOHNSTON in 1902 in Birmingham, Ia. She died in 1931.

On April 19, 1933, he married Mrs. Ola PAGE in Muscatine, Ia. From 1933 to 1939, he and his wife operated the Good Meal Cafe in Muscatine.

Mr HUDGEL lived in Moline for the last 15 years and was employed at the Army Surplus Co in Moline

Surviving are the widow; two daughters, Mrs Leslie PUMROY, Fairfield, Ia., and Mrs. Jack OCHSNER, Denver Colo a step daughter, Mrs Harold QUINSTROM, Moline, a sister, Mrs. George OLIVER, Waterloo, Ia., two brothers, Lincoln of Burlington, Ia , and Grant of Grand Fork, S D , one grandson and a step-daughter.

Services will be held at 10 Thursday morning in the Knox-Trimble Funeral Home, Moline. Dr. Ray Honeywell, officiating Gravestide services and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Fairfield, at 2 Thursday afternoon.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 tomorrow evening.
