*Transcribed for genealogy purposes; I have no relation to the person(s) mentioned.Note: Buried in Evergreen Cemetery, Fairfield, IA, in Lot SDiv.4-006, with no gravestone. According to the "Iowa, U.S., Deaths and Burials, 1850-1990" collection on Ancestry.com, this child was named George M., and was the son of Perry HUBBARD. The death certificate does not name parents, nor does it give a date of birth or an age at death. It also states death was in March, 1901 (possibly when it was reported to the county, and not when it actually happened), and cause was given as bowel trouble. The newspaper article above is the only one found in the neighborhood date-wise, and the only HUBBARD death noted in the county between 1880 and 1904.
