FUNERAL OF MRS. E. J. HEWETT WILL OCCUR AT 11:00 TOMORROW

Mrs. Anna J. HEWETT died yesterday afternoon at her home, 302 West Washington street. She had been in poor health for over a year.

Anna J. GANTZ, daughter of Levi and Sarah J. GANTZ, was born at the pioneer homestead northwest of this city, Nov. 25th, 1859, where she grew to womanhood. She united with the church at an early age.

She was married to Edwin J. HEWETT of Davenport, Nebr., March 31st, 1886, where they made their home until the fall of the same year, when they removed to a farm in Blackawk (sic) township, north of Fairfield. This was their home until they came to this city in 1911, where they have since resided.

Mrs. HEWETT, is survived by her husband and two children, J. E. HEWETT of Litchfield, Ill., and Miss Fern at home. One grandchild, Lucile Arlene HEWETT, one brother John GANTZ and three sisters Mrs. Laura B. COPELAND, Misses Mae and Effie GANTZ all of this county, also survive.

The last years of her life have been full of munh (sic) pain and suffering which she bore with great fortitude and patience.

Funeral services will be held tomorrow morning at eleven o'clock at the home.
