COX, MAGGARD, DEETER

Looking for any information on a Joseph (Josiah) Cox, 1791-1851. Time period between 1820 and 1890.
They were all born in the area of Clear Creek, Jasper County, Iowa. I've hit a brick wall with the father Joseph.

Joseph (Josiah) Cox Family:
wife - Julia Ann Maggard
son - John W. Cox, b. 1850
daughter - Dorcas Cox, b. 1854
son - Willis Cox, b.1854
son - William Taylor Cox, b. 1856
son - Peter Cox, b.1858
daughter - Eleanor Cox, b. 1862
