Need help to clarify info: Benjamin N. Wheeler married a Sarah A Trivitts (Trivet)(Trevits) not Sarah Turck. But have found that his son Samuel V Wheeler was living with a John C Scott & Sally A Scott (possibly adopted out)in 1860 Buena Vista, Jasper Co. IA, not with his father. But can't find him/them in 1870 census he would be abt 18 yrs. Don't know if Scotts moved, died or if Samuel was living in the area or another state, and why he wasn't with his father at abt 8 yrs.
