Thanks for responding. All I know is that Herman Hainke died in January of 1922 but do not know the date. I did find the obituary of Mary Hainke, his wife, when I visited the genealogy buildings in Des Moines last fall. They did not have the papers for January. Mary's was in the Newton Daily Journal dated Monday Feb. 9, 1914. I have not had a chance to visit the cemetery yet.
