I am descended from Azariah's uncle and have researched this branch of the Dennis family fairly well. Thomas Stanton Dennis was definitely not the son of Azariah and Emily Brooks Dennis. He wasn't on any census with them and according to the 1900 census, Emily had given birth to 8 children. There were 8 children enumerated on the various censuses with Azariah and Emily. Thomas was not one.

I don't know anything about John Wesley and Rebecca Dennis, but I was looking at the following family as a possibility:

1880 > OHIO > CARROLL > WASHINGTON Series: T9 Roll: 998 Page: 180
James DENNIS Self M Male W 42 OH Farmer IRE IRE
Elizabeth DENNIS Wife M Female W 33 IA Keeping House OH OH

Thomas S. DENNIS Son S Male W 7 OH OH IA
William R. DENNIS Son S Male W 4 OH OH IA

Unfortunately, I have found quite a few errors in the Union Cemetery information online at http://www.newtongov.org/Departments/PW/PDFS/Union%20Cemetery%20Burials.pdf

Some of the errors are clearly transcription errors -- old gravestones are hard to read sometimes -- but others, like this one grafting Thomas Stanton Dennis onto the family of Arariah Dennis, are avoidable errors made by amateur genealogists who guessed at relationships.
