Maquoketa, Ia., Jan. 14. - George Wallace Gibson passed away at his home in the Second Ward at 5:15 Sunday morning after a lingering illness, aged 48 years, 4 months and 11 days. Mr. Gibson was a very highly esteemed citizen and bore his sufferings with patience and fortitude. Deceased was born in Iowa Sept. 2, 1869. He leaves to mourn his loss a loving wife and daughter, his father and several brothers and sisters.

The funeral will be held from the home Wednesday, Jan. 16th, at 2 p.m.
