Edward Lange of Maquoketa Dies
Maquoketa-- Edward William Lange, 71, died at 11:45 p.m. Friday at his home here.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in the Carson and Balster Funeral home. The Rev. H. D. Green will officiate and burial will be in Mt. Hope cemetery.
He was born Jan. 16, 1870, in Toronto, Canada, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Lange. He was married Sept. 25, 1890, in Rock Falls, Ill. to Katie Thompson, who survives.
Others surviving are four sons, Carl of Davenport, Edwin of Clinton, Clyde of Lowden and Gilbert of Maquoketa; three daughters, Mrs. Edith Gibson of Maquoketa, Ruth of Des Moines and Dorothy at home; two brothers, Frank of Sterling and Bert of Morrison; one sister Mrs. Martha Forman, of Morrison.
Three children, Harold, Myrtle and Jennie preceded her(sic) in death.
