Maquoketa, Ia. - Funeral services for the late Mrs. A. A. Roth were held from Sacred Heart church Friday morning at 10 o'clock. Rev. Father Frometh of Dubuque officiated. Burial was made in Sacred Heart cemetery. In the passing of Mrs. Roth Maquoketa was bereaved of one of its noblest women. She truly believed in doing unto others as you would be done by. Besides her husband and son Frank, of this city, she leaves to mourn her nephew, Donald Gurius, who was taken into her home and heart about two years ago, when his own mother died; a little grandson, Neale Francis Roth and a niece, Evelyn Louise Gurius, and several sisters and brothers of whom Mrs. Roth was the youngest.

Mrs. Roth was born in Norway, Feb. 6, 1878 and came to America in 1893, and death claimed her Wednesday morning at 1:30, after an illness of a heart infection, which made itself apparent several weeks ago.
