COAKLEY-ROWAN WEDDING
St. Lawrence church at Otter Creek was the scene of a pretty wedding on Tuesday morning, August 18, 1925, when Miss Della M. Coakley became the bride of Mr. Joseph Rowan, of LaMotte, the ceremony being performed at 8 o'clock by Rev. Fr. Loughnane. The bridal party entered the church to the strains of the wedding march played by Miss Netta Coakley, sister of the bride. The bride looked lovely in a teal brown canton crepe with hat to match. She is the youngest daughter of Jerry Coakley, and for the past few years has been a successful teacher in the rural schools of Jackson county. After the church ceremony the bridal party repaired to the home of the bride's father, where a wedding breakfast was served to the immediate realtives and friends of the bride and groom, after which the bridal couple left for a trip to Bancroft, Wisconsin.
