Rohny Walter Meyer, 35, of Mason City, Iowa, and formerly of Alden, Iowa, passed away Monday, August 18, at Mercy Medical Center, Mason City, Iowa, following an Epileptic Seizure at his home. Funeral Services for Rohny Walter Meyer will be 10:30 am Thursday, August 21, 2014, at the Linn's Funeral Home Chapel, 1521 Washington Avenue, Iowa Falls, Iowa. A time of visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 pm Wednesday, August 20th also at the Linn's Funeral Home. Burial will be at the Friends Cemetery, Iowa Falls.

Rohny Walter Meyer was born July 13, 1979, at Iowa City, Iowa, the son of Barton Lee Janssen and Tamara Jo Meyer. He attended the Alden, Iowa Community Schools. He was married to Melissa Marker and they later divorced. He worked as a laborer for many companies in the Mason City area.

Rohny Meyer is survived by his children: Mikael and Andrew Meyer of Osage, Iowa; mother: Tammy [Roger] Last of Alden, Iowa; his father Bart [Deb] Janssen of Iowa Falls, Iowa; his brother: Chad [Carrie] Last of Alden, Iowa; his step sisters: Lisa [Sean] Milbrandt of North Liberty, Iowa, Jennifer O'Holloran of Grinnell, Iowa; his grandparents: Pearl Janssen of Iowa Falls, Iowa, Wally and Lola Last of Alden, Iowa; and his uncles and aunts: Mike Meyer [John Garness] of Rochester, Minnesota, Roxanne Stone [Brad] of Iowa Falls, Iowa, David Meyer of Knoxville, Iowa, Bev Strandell of Eldora, Iowa, and Lori [Jerry] Kadner of Eldora, Iowa.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Walter Janssen, Marilyn 'Joann' and George 'Shorty' Meyer; and an uncle: Joel Strandell.
