Cyrus Milton McCoy.

Cyrus Milton McCoy was born near Metamora, Woodford county, Illinois, June 3, 1877, and died at Redfield, S. D., Nov. 11, 1907, death following shortly after an operation for tuberculosis of the bone of the left thigh. Mr. McCoy moved with his parents to Jewell, Iowa, where he resided until 1892. Then he moved to Inwhood, Iowa, residing there until 1897, then returned to Hamilton county making his home at Blairsburg. Since 1906 he had been engaged in the land business with T. S. Everett, located of Redfield, S. D.

Mr. McCoy is survived by three sisters, Mrs. J. G. Wheat of Emmetsburg, Mrs. G. A. Walrath of Blairsburg, and Mrs. J. S. Stewart of Inwood, Iowa, and by one brother, J. C. McCoy of Chicago. Funeral services were held last Thursday, Nov. 14, at the home of Mrs. G. A. Walrath, conducted by Rev. B. J. Rhodes, and the remains were laid at rest in the Blairsburg cemetery. --G. G. W.
