Old Resident Passes Away.
William Diver, old resident of the county and said to be worth $250,000, died at the C. M. Arthur boarding house in Webster City, Wednesday, at the age of 79 years, after an illness of two weeks of diseases incident to old age. The deceased was born in Massachusetts and came to Iowa from his home in Waukegan, Ill., 38 years ago. He was at one time and extensive holder of land in the neighborhood of Kamrar and was a stock buyer there for a good many years. The remains were shipped back to his old home in Waukegan, Wednesday evening, for interment. The deceased was an old bachelor and has a brother, George Diver, of Waukegan, who will inherit all of his estate.
