From Jewell Record November 30, 1900 (page 6)

A Sudden Death.

Mrs. Ole Tynning, who with her husband for the past year have resided about six miles southwest of town, died very suddenly last Sunday morning. She had been enjoying her usual amount of health and last Saturday went over to her mother's, Mrs. Beisheim, where she was arranging for a birthday party in honor of her mother whose birthday was Sunday. She was seemingly feeling as well as usual all day Saturday and retired in the evening about nine o'clock. About ten o'clock she was taken with a pain in the heart steadily growing worse until three o'clock in the morning when she passed to her final reward. Her death was a shock to the community, made more so from the fact that one who had previously enjoyed such good health should be plucked from our embrace without a moment's warning. Yet, while in life we are held under the cold wage of death.

Mrs. Tynning was born in Illinois moving here with her parents when but a mere child. She was united in marriage to Ole Tynning about a year ago and since that time Mr. and Mrs. Tynning have made their home on a farm southwest of the city. She was a bright young lady, a good woman and a kind and true wife. She possessed a talent of winning friends and wherever she went she always made many friends and rememberers. By her death, an aged but ever loving mother, two brothers, four sisters and a true and loving husband are mad to mourn the death of one who can never be forgotten. The funeral was held at the Lutheran church at 1 o'clock Monday afternoon, services being conducted by Rev. Eastvold.

The many friends of the deceased and family together with the Record will sympathize with those that mourn. While we know she is gone from our midst yet she lives in our memory.
