A son of Mr. and Mrs. Engerbrit Madsen [sic] died rather suddenly of heart disease Sunday. It seems that the boy went to church in the morning and apparently was enjoying his usual health, when only a short time afterwards he dropped dead. The funeral services were held in the vicinity of Lake Center. Mr. and Mrs. Madsen were at one time residents of Story City and their friends and acquaintance at this place sympathize with them in their sorrow.

SUBMITTER'S NOTE: John Anton Madson also known as Johan Madson, was the son of Engebrit/Ingebrit Madson and Sirie “Sarah” Johnson/Jonason. The parents are buried in the Story City Cemetery, the father's stone names him "Albert Madson" and the mother as "Sarah Madson."
