A.C. Singer, 92, Webster City, died Sunday, Aug. 24, 1997 at Hamilton County Public Hospital. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Trinity Lutheran Church with Revs. Roy Miltner and John Grebner officiating. Burial will be at Graceland Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday at Foster Funeral Home and prior to services at the church on Tuesday.

Anton Carl Singer, the son of Anton and Martha (Albright) Singer, was born March 11, 1905 on a farm northeast of Webster City. He attended rural school in Blairsburg Township. On Dec. 22, 1926, he married Rosa Bertha Steinke at the English Lutheran Church in Webster City. The couple farmed north of Stonega. In 1967 they moved to Webster City. Mrs. Singer preceded him in death in July 1996.

Mr. Singer is survived by: daughters and son-in-law, Bonnie Hoversten, Williams and Carol and Curt Lemon, Webster City; son and daughter-in-law, Noel and Linda Singer, Webster City; 12 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Susie Barr and Lillie Keigan.

He was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church and a former member of the Webster City Elks Lodge.
