RECENT DEATHS
MRS. E. W. SKEERS
Mrs. E. W. Skeers, 62, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. George Kyle, four miles southeast of Ames, Feb. 3, following an extended illness.
Mrs. Skeers was born in Jewell county, Kan., Oct. 10, 1874 and lived at Jewell, Iowa, from 1901 until 1932, when she and her husband moved to their daughter's home.
Surviving her are her husband and 11 children: Virgil, Harold, Mrs. John Crysler, Mrs. Joe Ogden and Mrs. Kyle, all of Ames; Charles and Mrs. H. O. Horness of Story City; Mrs. Arthur Smith of Van Meter, Lawrence of Kelley, Mrs. Howard Bernsmeier of Blairsburg, and Mrs. Eldon Jacobson of Boone. Also surviving are two brothers, Rasmus Thronson of Princeton, Minn. and Carl of Mankato, Kan. and two sisters, Mrs. Ole Hanson of Randall, Kan. and Mrs. Roy Parrett of Batavia.
Funeral services were held Saturday in Ames.
