Julius Ingebritson
Julius Ingebritson was born April 23, 1883, on the farm where he died and had lived there all the time except one year when he stayed with his brother Lewis and family.
On March 7, 1906 he was married to Hannah Matilda Henderson. To this union were born four children: Herman, Alphia, Sarah and Julius Jr.
He was taken sick Feb. 2 with the flu which developed into pneumonia and on Feb. 9 he passed away peacefully with the assurance of meeting his Saviour.
One think which was so important to him, both in life and on his deathbed was, the religious instruction for the young, and he expressed his thanks and appreciation for what this very thing had been to him.
He leaves to mourn his loss his wife and the four children, two brothers and seven sisters. The brothers and sisters are: Misses Bertina and Ida Ingebritson at the home place, Lewis Ingebritson of Ellsworth, the Rev. Henry Inebritson of Lake Mills, Mrs. Oscar Fossum of Minneapolis, Mrs. Olaf Vangen of Gonwick, Minn., Mrs. Wm. Maakestad of Randall and Miss Laura Ingebritson of Lake Milles. All were here with the exception of one brother, Rev. Ingebriton, whose family was under quarantine.
Funeral services were held on Friday, Feb. 13 at the home, conducted by Rev. John Hendricks of Minneapolis and Rev. A. J. Torgerson of Northwood. He was laid to rest in the Mamrelund cemetery in Scott township.
Julius had sold his farm here and the family has just begun making preparations for moving to their new home at Northwood, Iowa, to which they all looked forward to with pleasure. Mrs. Ingebritson has rented her farm but expects to go there to live in the home her husband has prepared for her.
He is sadly missed in his home, his church and by many relatives and friends.
