Obituary of Ole Millang
Ole Edvin Millang, son of Ole and Elizabeth Millang, was born in Rose Grove township, Hamilton county, Iowa, September 4, 1890, and died in an automobile accident four miles southwest of Williams April 6, 1935.
He was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran church of Rose Grove, of which he has always been a member. He grew to manhood in that locality and lived there all his life with the exception of fourteen months when he served his country as a soldier in the World war. He was a man of quiet disposition who was willing to suffer affliction in silence.
He leaves to mourn his untimely death, two brothers and one sister, Ubert of Camrose, Alberta, Canada, Gerhard of Story City, and Olive of Minneapolis. His parents and nine brothers and sisters have preceded him in death.
Funeral services were held at Tabitha Lutheran church on Tuesday afternoon, Pastor H. E. Jacobson officiating, with Mrs. Rick of Williams in charge. The committal service was followed by the firing squad of the American Legion.
