Monday, May 24, 1999Lillian Anna June Dehne, 82, Washington, formerly of Webster City, died Saturday, May 22, 1999 at Halcyon House in Washington. Funeral services will be Friday at 10 a.m. at the United Presbyterian Church in Washington with Rev. Ralph Farmer officiating. Burial will be in the Mound Cemetery at a later date.
Lillian Wiese, daughter of Julius Otto and Rosa Kathryn Friday Wiese, was born June 1, 1916. She graduated from Correll High School in Correll, MN. and attended the State of Minnesota Norma Training in Ortonville, MN. She did further studies at Catholic University in St. Louis, MO. She married Rev. Clarence Dehne on June 9, 1939. The couple lived in Illinois, Cedar Rapids, Webster City and LeMars during Rev. Dehne's ministry for the United Brethren Church. She had lived in Washington since 1964, where her husband was the minister for the United Presbyterian Church. He died in 1970.
Survivors are her daughters, Ann Clifton, Shaw, MN., Fonda Peterson, Aspen, CO., and Carol Casey, Iowa City, five grandchildren.
