Mildred D. Myers

Mildred D. Myers, 88, formerly of 17980 Tollview Drive, died at 12:40 p.m. Friday in Healthwin Hospital. She retired from the South Bend Community School Corp. in 1965 after 27 years, having taught at Pierre Nevarre and Oliver Schools. Born May 3, 1898, in Morrison, Iowa, she had lived here since 1929, coming from Chicago, she married Robert P. Myers Sr., who died in 1984.
Surviving are a son, Robert P. Myers Jr. of South Bend; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Memorial services will be conducted at a later date. There will be no visitation. Cremation will take place; ashes will be buried at Washington Township Cemetery, Morrison. Mrs. Myers was a member of Epworth Memorial United Methodist Church, Order of Eastern Star South Bend Chapter No. 2 and Schyler Rebecca Lodge.
