Jefferson Souvenir - Saturday, December 21, 1895 - DIED: Frank Pulliam, at the home of his parents in Jefferson, Ia. Sunday, December 15th, 1895. He was born in Fairfax, Highland county, Ohio, August 16, 1858. He had lived 37 years, 3 months and 29 days, when death came and relieved his suffering. He fell a prey to that dread disease —Consumption.
Five years ago he had the misfortune to get his arm crushed in a corn sheller which necessitated it being amputated, scarcely had he been free from pain at any time since, although he never complained, but bore all his sufferings very patiently.
The funeral was held in the Christian church, Tuesday at 3 p.m. He was an upright man and honorable in all his dealings with others, what faults he may have had, let us throw over them the mantle of charity, peace be to his ashes. D.A.H.
