HOMER C. BAKER
Homer C. Baker, son of Henry and Rachel Baker, was born in Fremont County, Iowa, June 27, 1868 and died March 31, 1959 at the age of 90 years, 9 months and 14 days. He had been a member of the Chiristian Church since February 24, 1906.
On September 6, 1890 he was united in marriage to Enemile Manley and to this union five children were born. One daughter, Mabel Irene, preceded him in death many years ago.
Survivors include hs wife, one son, John M. Baker of Sidney, Ia.; three daughters, Mrs. Lloyd Simpson of Hamburg, Mrs. Cecil Proctor of Loveland, Colo., and Mrs. Marjorie Cresse of Omaha; three grandchildren and four great grandchildren; two brothers, Lon and John Baker; and one sister, Mrs. Myrtle Harris all of Hamburg.
Funeral services were held at Johnson Funeral Home Thursday, April 2 with Rev. George I. Yetter officiating. Interment was in Mt. Zion cemetery.
