MRS. CLARA L. WINDER

Mrs. Clara L. Winder, 69 died early this morning at a hospital here. Her home was in Hamburg, Iowa, but she was in the process of moving to St. Joseph to live with a daughter. She had a stroke last July and two weeks ago, while here, suffered another stroke.

Surviving are her husband Harold J. Winder; six daughters, Mrs. Fannie Walkley, Omaha, Neb.; Mrs. Ivy Dimmitt, Siloam Springs, Ark.; Mrs. Estina Gresham, Mrs. Dorothy Marsh, Mrs. Ruth White, and Mrs. Nellie Shelton, St. Joseph; two sisters, Mrs. Hattie Winder and Mrs. Effie Wilkerson, St. Joseph; a brother, Cole McMillen, St. Joseph; seven grandchildren and a great-grandchild.

Mrs. Winder was a member of the Evangelical and Reformed Church. She was a native of Dearborn, Mo.

The body has been removed from the Heaton-Bowman funeral home to the Johnson mortuary at Hamburg.
