OBITUARY

Dosha Octava (Luna) Gilbert was born in Dora, Mo., Oct. 26, 1903, the daughter of Alvin Luther Luna and Ivy May Epley. She died at Lincoln, Ne. Oct. 17, 1991 at the age of 87 years, 9 months, 21 days.

She completed 8 years of schooling in Dora, Mo. She came to Iowa with her family in 1921. She married William Gilbert, Jr. Jan. 16, 1924 at Sidney, Iowa. To this union 4 children were born. Harold of Lincoln, Ne., two other sons and one daughter died in infancy.

Her entire married life was spent as a farm wife around the Hamburg area.

Survivors include her son Harold, of Lincoln, Ne.; one brother Fred Luna of Lincoln, Ne.; 3 grandsons; 8 great-grandchildren; 2 step-grandchildren, 1 step-great-grandchild, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held Aug. 19 at the Shull Funeral home with the Rev. Blaine Prichett officiating. Interment was at Mt. Zion cemetery.
