I was able to locate three obituaries for you.

Fred E. Knoll
6 December 1899 ---- 7 April 1936 in Minneapolis

KNOLL — Fred E. Knoll, age 36 years, passed away Tuesday 1:30 o'clock a.m., April 7th, 1936, at the residence Minneapolis, Minn. Beloved husband of Mrs. Lillian Wagner Knoll; son of Edward Knoll; brother of Dr. Albert Knoll, Quinter, Kans.; Mrs. L. Giegerich, Dubuque, and Mrs. R. L. Shouer, Freeport, Ill. Arrived in this city and resting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Wagner, 625 Alpine street, where funeral will be held Friday afternoon, 2:30 o ’clock, to Third Presbyterian church at 3:00 o’clock. The Rev. C. V. White will officiate, Dubuque lodge, No. 3, A. F. & A. M. will have charge of services at the graveside in Linwood.

Funeral services for Fred E. Knoll, 36, who died in Minneapolis Tuesday morning at 1:30 o ’clock, will be held Friday afternoon at 2: 30 o’clock from the home of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Wagner, 625 Alpine street, to the Third Presbyterian church at 3 o’clock. Services at the graveside in Linwood cemetery will be under the auspices of the Dubuque Lodge of the Masonic fraternity. Mr. Knoll, a well-known native of Dubuque, died suddenly. He had been active at work throughout the day and suffered a heart attack during the night. He was assistant superintendent of the Great Atlantic and Pacific Tea company in Minneapolis for the past eight years. He began work with that firm in Dubuque 12 years ago.

He was born Dec. 6, 1899. He attended Audubon and Senior high schools and was a student at the University of Dubuque for two years. He married Miss Lillian Wagner of Dubuque Nov. 18, 1924. She survives him with his father, Edward Knoll, Dubuque; a brother, Dr. Albert Knoll, Quinter, Kans.; two sisters, Mrs. L. Giegerich, Dubuque; Mrs. R. L. Shouer, Freeport, Ill. His mother died in June, 1930. He was a member of the Presbyterian church, Dubuque lodge No. 3. A. F. and A. M. and the Elks lodge at Owatoma, Wis.

The funeral of Fred E. Knoll was held Friday afternoon from the home of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Wagner, 625 Alpine street, to the Third Presbyterian church at 3:00 o’clock, Rev. C. V. White officiating. Hymns were rendered by Miss Minnie Dersch and Al Breckler, accompanied by Mrs. Ruth Hein at the organ. Services at the graveside were held under auspices of Dubuque Lodge No. 3, A. F. and A. M., conducted by Past Worshipful Master L. C. Stoffregen. Interment was in Linwood.

McNeil, Minneapolis; Miss Evelyn Wagner, Chicago, Ill.; Mr. Chas. Frantz, Darlington, Wis.; Miss Cora Casper, Scales Mound, Ill.; Miss Elizabeth Graves, Mason City, Ia.; Mr. Paul Heynish, Pocahontas, Ia.; Dr. and Mrs. D. H. Dewey, Owatonna, Minn.; Dr. and Mrs. L. V. Berghs, Owatonna, Minn.; Mr. and Mrs. R. Meggenberg, Manchester, Ia.; Dr. Albert Knoll, Quinter, Kan.; Mr. and Mrs. R. L. Shouer, Freeport, Ill. Pallbearers were: John Buetteil, Walter Dalbkermeyer, Karl Harker, L. B. Wertz, M. J. Donahoe, C. F. Schlueter, Richard Rink, Louis Meyer.
