I am Lura's grandson and knew Vinita. She died Dec 3, 1988 in Cherokee Village, Arkansas where she had lived for over 10 years at the time. Her daughter Lura lived nearby. I believe Vinita was interred in Woodlawn Park North Cemetery and Mausoleum, Miami, Florida, alongside her second husband Frank Gardner.
