I have been searching for years for the graves of Richard Dowel and his wife Martha Alice Cockayne Dowel. I believe their deaths were in the late 1870's as I have copies of the court documents where their 2 youngest children, William & Josephine were turned over to Martha's sister, the William Clarks because of their parents death.
