Hi-
I am related to Maria Haewekel I believe. Can you confirm that Wilhelm Prehm died in a railroad accident in Burlington?
Here is what I have:
After the accident Maria(Haewekel)Prehm remarried Gerhart Oetken. They had two girls, Florence, and Mildred. Their half siblings were Bill, Oddie( Adolph), Clara, Marie(called Mayme),and Minna. I don't have any info on Eda.

I am Florence's grandson. Florence and Mildred lived with Mayme after their Mom( Maria) died. I remember Aunt Mayme well. She married a Walt Johnson and lived in Oak Park IL.
I have been doing research on Ancestry.com and couldn't find much on Wilhelm Prehm or Maria Haewekel. Any info you have would be great.
