Looking for an obituary on David Edward Blackwood. While of military training mission on 23 June 1961 in southern California, he failed to return to base. On or about 19 December 1961, the wreckage of his plane was found in a California canyon. An article about the wreckage and the discovery of his body appeared in the Mason City Globe Gazette on 19 December.
