Perry Cochrane
Perry Cochrane, 81, of 2830 Winegard, died at Klein Memorial hospital at 6:45 a.m. Monday, Oct. 27.
He was born March 7, 1899, at Myer, Ill., to Arthur C. and Nellie Gray Cochrane. He married Esther Keck in 1920; she died March 2, 1939. Mr. Cochrane then married Mada Watson Nov. 23, 1941 at Palmyra, Mo.
A retired carpenter, he was the first business representative of Carpenters Local 534 in the Burlington area.
Surviving: The wife; four sons, Darryl, Southgate, California, Perry, Jr., San Bernandina, Calif., Charles, Bristol, R.I., and Keith, Dallas, Texas; two daughters, Evelyn Baird, Kansas City, Mo. and Nellie McConnell, Independence, Mo.; stepson Richard Phillips, Modesto, Calif.; stepdaughter Barbara Robinson, Upland, Calif.; three sisters, Lou Webb,Denver,Colo., Charlotte McCracken, Claremore, Okla., and Irene Schultz, Dallas, Texas; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Funeral: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Prugh's chapel, the Rev. Clair G. Marvel; Memorial Park cemetery.
