Mrs. Kathryn Hemphill

Wapello – Funeral services were scheduled at 4 p.m. today at the Dudgeon-McCulley funeral home, for Mrs. Kathryn Helen Hemphill.

Mrs. Hemphill was in the café business here with her husband. She died at 4 a.m. Sunday at her home. (9-2-1962)

Mrs. Hemphill was born March 3, 1930 at Burlington. She was married to Robert Hemphill, Sept. 9, 1949 at Burlington.

Surviving are her husband; one brother, Robert of Burlington; two sisters, Ruth Stout of Des Moines and Marjorie Mellinger of Mediapolis; and her parents, Frank and Helen Burgess Walker, north of Burlington. She was preceded in death by one son in infancy.

Rev. Roble of Mediapolis officiated. Interment was at memorial Park, Burlington.
