You stated that Murray Mason had been living with the Sears family since he was 4 years old. How do you know this because Murray was not in the 1850 census for the Sears (Sours) family. I am working on the family for my nephew through the William T Mason line and have hit this brick wall. Thank you for any information you can give me.
