I was doing some more research. I was always told that my fathers (Joseph John Noftsger) brother was Frank Woodrow Noftsger but I am not sure because later in life I was told that my dads parents were actually his grandparents and that his "brother" Frank was actually his father. I've tried looking online to see what I can find but nothing ever turns up for either of them "Frank and Joseph "Joe" Noftsger ". It is truly upsetting for me. I honesty don't know anything about my father and my grandfather. I would just like to know something about my family. I feel alone. My dad died in 1988 and my mom was adopted (closed) when she was 7. The only information I know about my dad is that he was born on January 18, 1940 in Oklahoma and that he went to Tulsa central high school(graduated in 1959). He was married twice. Died in February of 1988. If anyone has any information they are willing to share it would be very much appreciated. Thank you for your time. Also...I am located in Davenport, IA. My sons have been asking a lot about their grandfather. Please help me inform them as well as myself.
