Drum and Bugle Corp

I'm looking for information and possibly photos of the Drum and Bugle Corp in either Davis City or Leon. My gg uncle, Elijah Spencer was a menber of the band. When he died in 1918, the Drum & Bugle Corp's remaining members, played at his funeral. Elijah also clerked in a mercantile in Davis City. The story goes that he used to make oyster stew on a pot belly stove in the store. It was a gathering place for the men in those days. He also was a violin and zither salesman.
Any info would be greatly appreciated. Also looking for a photo of his mother, Nancy Spencer McDiffit. She died in Davis City in 1913.
