I am a descendant of Mary LAYTON born 21 Sep 1826 and married John William ALBAUGH 30 Oct 1851 in Greencastle, Putnam County, Indiana. They migrated to Decatur County, Iowa. Mary's brother was James Perry LAYTON who died in Leon, Decatur County, Iowa in 1903. I can trace this LAYTON line back to Maryland to Uriah LAYTON who died in 1835 and his wife, Keziah PURDUM and have her family back to the 1740's. Please contact me at:
