Ray, 62 died Friday. Survived by his wife Pat of Perry; parents Ernest and Barbara Gerke, siblings, Pamela Gerke; Paula Palmer; Ronald Gerke all of Des Moines; Randy Gerke of Melcher and Phyllis Strauss of Plano, Texas. Services 10 a.m. Tuesday at Hastings Funeral Home. Visitation 1 p.m. Monday family present from 6 to 8 p.m.
