Margret Ann Vander Martin, 42, went to be with our Lord on Thursday, November 1, 2012. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, November 7, at Iles Funeral Homes-Brandt Chapel in Dallas Center. The family will greet friends one hour prior to Wednesday's service. Cremation rites will follow the service and a private burial will be held at a later date.
Ann was born on September 1, 1970, in Newton, IA and has lived in the Perry and Grimes areas most of her life. She is survived by her mother, Angela Roan of Grimes; brother, David Lee (Melissa) Vander Martin of Colfax; step-siblings, Diana (Dave) DeGlopper of Allegan, MI, Stephanie Roan of Des Moines, and Tim (Barbie) Roan of Allegan, MI; and many relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Harold Lee Vander Martin Jr. and step-father, Jerry Roan.
