Sylvia M. Dingman, 96, of Granger died of a heart ailment Friday at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mrs. Dingman had lived in Des Moines all her life. She was a homemaker and a member of Capitol Hill Christian Church.
She is survived by a son, Richard of Des Moines; 13 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Grover.
Friends may call prior to time of services Tuesday at Hamilton’s Near Highland Memory Gardens Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
